Dr. Natalia MenjiVar
Dr. Menjivar was born to be an orthodontist. She set her sights on orthodontics after being an orthodontic patient herself and experiencing phase I treatment, phase II treatment, and even headgear. She followed in the footsteps of her orthodontist and long-time mentor Dr. Chu from Racine, Wisconsin.
Dr. Menjivar attended Vanderbilt University where she majored in Biology and Spanish and also met her husband Walter. After undergrad, Dr. Menjivar attended dental school at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine followed by the University of Minnesota orthodontic residency program where she received her Masters and certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Menjivar has a friendly and outgoing personality that lends itself well to meeting new people of all ages and backgrounds. She looks forward to treating all the members of your family as though you were her family. She has always prided herself on being able to communicate clearly with people and explain concepts that can often be challenging or confusing for patients. This means that you will have clear expectations every step of the way.
Dr. Menjivar lives with her husband and three young children Sophia, Alexander and Olivia. Dr. Menjivar loves running, exercise, cooking for friends, and international travel. As a family, they enjoy walking around WH center, visiting the Noah Webster Library, and swimming at Cornerstone.
